The ASSOCIATION OF AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES

The AAU is Africa’s apex higher education organization of over four hundred universities and a critical lynchpin organization that brings coherence to the development of African universities. The Association collaborates with institutions with whom they share common objectives in advancing higher education and strengthening their human and institutional capacities to respond to societal needs.

The AAU’s niche is in its networking and enjoys a unique capacity for convening most of the higher education community in Africa to reflect and consult on key issues affecting education on the continent. The thrust of its base is the nimble deploying of advocacy, commissioning of studies, and acting and becoming the clearing house and intelligence arm for these higher education institutions on the continent.

NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA)

NASPA is the leading higher education student affairs organization that provides programs, experiences, and services that cultivate student learning and success in concert with the mission of our colleges and universities for the advancement, health, and sustainability of the student affairs profession leadership, scholarship, professional development, and advocacy for student affairs. Established in 1918 and founded in 1919, NASPA is comprised of over 15,000 members in all 50 states, 30 countries, and 3 U.S. Territories.

The ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITIES OF ASIA AND THE PACIFIC, (AUAP)

(AUAP) is an association of university chief executives from higher education institutions in Asia Pacific and around the world. AUAP was founded and established by representatives of universities in the Asia and Pacific region assembled in conference at Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on 28 July 1995 to be the voice of the universities in the Asia and Pacific region on matters that affect them. www.auap.sut.ac.th

The Agence universitaire de la Francophonie

The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), created 60 years ago, is today the first university network in the world with more than 1000 members: universities, Higher Schools, and research centers in nearly 120 countries.

Revealing the genius of the scientific Francophonie throughout the world, the AUF, an international non-profit organization, is also a label that carries a vision for a better development of educational and university systems: "to think globally about the scientific Francophonie and to act regionally while respecting diversity".

 For many years, AUF has been strongly committed to supporting its member institutions in the digital transformation and development of Higher Education, a commitment that makes all the more sense today.

Abu–Dhabi University

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is one of the region’s leading academic institutions, translating the UAE Government’s National Agenda to deliver internationally accredited academic programs and world-class research.

Established in 2003, with campuses across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain, the University serves over 7,000 students from over 100 nationalities. The University is home to five colleges across different disciplines including arts and sciences, business, engineering, health sciences, and law, while offering a diverse range of over 50 undergraduate and graduate programs.

According to the Times Higher Education Rankings (THE), ADU ranks second in the UAE for its research influence and citations, and it is among the top three universities in the UAE, while holding the number one position in the teaching pillar. Additionally, THE Rankings has recognized the University’s College of Business as the number one best college in the UAE.

The University has made an impressive debut in THE Young University Rankings 2023, ranking in the 58th position globally among the world's best universities under 50 years or younger. Furthermore, the University came in 59th place in the prestigious THE Asia Ranking and was ranked first in the UAE for graduate employability as per the THE Rankings.

Parallelly, ADU ranks in the 580th place globally, according to the 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings and received a 5-star rating in the 2022 QS Stars rating.
